Hello all, I installed the Sunsynk 5Kw inverter around 10 months ago.

All has been working wonderfully until last week when I noticed a strange issue with my energy diverted for hot water.

After troubleshooting for a good part of the week, I have narrowed it down to the Sunsynk incorrectly reading the CT

For the last 10 months the CT had been connected via a length of shielded Cat5, using one pair, about 25 meters long. There has never been an issue and my other CT clamps were Confirmation of this.

With that original cable, the sunsynk is reading approx a 180w feed from the grid - even when the CT is unclamped from the live AND with no CT connected to the cable.

I have ran a shorter cable, around 10 meters, taking a direct route across my drive way and the Sunsynk no thinks it is pulling approx 45w from grid even with nothing connected. With it connected to live from grid, it thinks it is pulling a consistent 11w.

I have tried everything I can think of to solve the issue to no avail.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what is going on?
