8kW unit, 10kW of panels - constantly need to reset circuit breakers on PV strings

I have 10kW of solar panels installed, 16 x 330W panels on a NNE roof, and 14 x 330W panels on a WNW roof, in Johannesburg. Now in June 2022 the maximum my system products is 4.5kW at around 11-12pm, with the 16 NNE panels (5.3kW) producing a maximum of 2.4kW on a sunny winter day with batteries at only 30% SOC (there is plenty of demand - our AC demand is around 3kW, and Revov 10kWh li-ion battery set to charge at 90A). I also have to reset the breakers to the solar strings to achieve even this (they only produce around 1.7kW until I put the string circuit breakers down and then up again). As a result I am producing only around 30kWh on a sunny day in winter but need more like 40kWh (am thinking of getting a second battery). Has anyone come across this problem?
