Blue Nova BN52V-240-12.5k HC
This post is about Blue Nova's BMS.
It does communicate with the Sunsynck 8.8kw, but some settings seem wrong as if BMS is not concerned with that and leave it up to the user to set.
For instance. Max charge and discharge are set at 40A. The Blue Nova can handle 240A continuous. Should one change it manually? And to what? The full 240A or just 200A. At 40A it takes forever to get a full charge. I would like to go the full 240A, as my panels can easily handle it and I want this job done as soon as possible.
Next example.
Float V. It is set in the inverter at 55.2,v, but the specs in the datasheet say it is 55.5v. So, is BMS just ignoring this, or is the datasheet wrong?
Next:
Equalization. A Lithium should never be equalized. Yet BMS is setting it at 57.6V and 90 days?
I mean, when do we accept what BMS is telling the inverter and when not?
In the reporting screen, BMS is reporting different, or correctly? But it limits the charge to 40A, because that is what is in the settings.
