Stringing up MPPT 2+2
Have new 8.8KW Ecco inverter with MPPT 2+2 inputs - with 2 sets of Viridian panels on adjacent south facing roof then should I split the string 9+9 and 6+6 into the MPPTs or better to go 9+6 and 6+9 (or does it make no difference as parallel up anyway)?

It has to be 9+9 and 6+6, I am not sure what size panels you have. If the are Viridian 405W panels, the Voc is approx 37V which means 9 37V = 333V which is is below the allowed maximum, and the Imp current for a 9+9 would be 2 * 13A = 26, right on the maximum. The 6+6 is well below the limits.
