Solar settings for non-essential load
Hello Everyone,
I am new to solar and wanted to know if someone could please assist with the correct settings once I get solar panels.
I currently purchased a 5.12kva battery and a Sunsynk 5kva inverter. My DB has been split into non-essential and essential DB's, for the non-essential I only have the oven and geyser on as we have a gas stove. The essential DB is connected to the load port of the inverter. I am planning to get 4 x 550w solar panels and wanted to know what settings I must use so that I can save on electricity as I would like the excess PV to send to a non-essential load.

Your settings are correct.You will just have to monitor your system as to the weather conditions and what time of day you will be using most of your essential load.Then you can play arround with the % settings for ea time slot on your timer.It will prob take a few weeks for you to find the sweet spot for these % settings as you go along.Good luck.
