Running Sunsynk 5.5kw Hybrid Ecco With No Batteries
Hi,
We have a system with 2 x Sunsynk 5.5kw Hybrid Ecco and 2 x IP65 5.12KW Battery
The batteries have in fact turned out to be not much benefit due to the high demand by ur business, at fell charge they last max 45 minutes. We therefore would simply want to run the inverters to generate as and when the sun is out as we have the option of selling both batteries on to a friend who would benefit.
We have had mixed information about if these inverters can run without a battery, when our solar chap calls he gets mixed responses, some say you can some not so I thought I would throw the question out here!
Also due to an issue with the initial setup one battery is totally flat (why that option is not default I do not know) and we cannot seem to get it to charge now its flat, SunSynk again some different options, one chap said use a car trickle charger another said they would come and collect, RTB and then charge an send back, again any ideas?
Cheers

I used a Seplos bms and communicates perfectly with the Sunsynk inverter. The balance function on the Seplos is poor (1 amp I think) like most if not all bms's and because I have a 15kwh battery I also bought a Neey active balancer which transfers energy at 4 amp rather than burning it off.
