Parallel inverters

A quick question about Sunsynk inverters running in parallel....

Do they have to be the same inverter?

I already have an 8kw and I'm looking to expand. My DNO has said my export limit would be 10.5kw. So 2 8kw inverters would be overkill (and possibly not even allowed due to exceeding the "system limit")

So is the 3.68kw compatible to run alongside the 8kw and both share the same peak 10.5kw export limit?

Thanks

NO - however you can configure the 2 * 8kW inverters to limit the export power to 10.5kW - it is a setting.

If you want to use a 3.6kW inverter, you can add this to the current system, but not in parallel. It would be just seen as another Grid-Tie inverter.

2 inverters in parallel is a better choice as they will be able to share the same battery :-)
