Advanced Optimization of Sunsynk Hybrid Inverters Under Dynamic Load Conditions

Hello everyone,

I’m currently operating a Sunsynk hybrid inverter in an environment with rapidly fluctuating loads, including equipment with Idols Of Ash high inrush currents. During real-world operation, several performance limitations have become apparent:

  • Noticeable delay when transitioning between the grid and the battery

  • Brief voltage dips during sudden load changes

  • Reduced efficiency under moderate but unstable load profiles

  • Imbalanced discharge behavior across parallel battery banks

Actions taken so far:

  • Fine-tuned Work Modes (Self-use / Time-of-Use)

  • Adjusted SOC thresholds and battery priority settings

  • Verified firmware version, system wiring, and BMS configuration

Despite these adjustments, system performance remains inconsistent.

Discussion points:

  1. Are there any field-proven configurations for improving stability under dynamic loads?

  2. What methods can effectively reduce transfer delay without compromising battery longevity?

  3. Have recent firmware updates addressed these issues in practice?

  4. What are the recommended approaches for ensuring balanced discharge in multi-pack battery systems?

I’m looking forward to insights from those with hands-on experience in similar deployments.

Thank you.
