Different 100Ah Sunsynk Battery Communication Issues

Good day, everyone

I am Jameson Serfontein, from South Africa - with jameson68@gmail.com

Inverter S/N 2109269436

Gateway E47012241176

Please note I started with my solar plant in 2022, if I remember correctly 6 X 455W Canadian panels, two 100Ah Sunsynk Batteries and the 8Kw Sunsynk Inverter.

I upgraded as time went by and the finances allowed:

Now on 18 455W panels

1 x 8 Kw Inverter

6 Batteries - (My problem now)

So the first two batteries - SSLB1 with specifications as attached.

Later an additional 1 X SUN-BATT-5.32 - Specifications also attached

Last year    1 X SUN-BATT-5.32

And this year 2 x  SUN-BATT-5.32

So my problem is - communication on the Li BMS page of the inverter.

At first when it was only the two SSLB1 batteries  - The discharge current indicated 100Amp

The installers (Different installers) connected the third, fourth, fifth and sixth battery the discharge current remained at 100Amp.

So yesterday another installer brought the following to my attention and I please need confirmation regarding the following problem.

So we made the third battery - SUN-BATT-5.32 the master and connected the other three SUN-BATT-5.32 as a slave - Indication now 400 Amps - all good

At this stage, I need assistance to get the older two batteries (SSLB1's ) to communicate with the system. The comms data cables are now disconnected and I am not sure if this will be possible.

I cannot see why the SSLB1 batteries were replaced by the SUN-BATT-5.32 if they are not compatible to be used together.

Your assistance will be appreciated.

SSLB1 was made by UZEnergy who still make the L051100-A which is fully compatible. Same BMS and cells.
