2 X 8kW sunsynks with a mix of pylontech batteries
The customer had 2 x 7.2 Kodak inverters in and and told the originator to take them back and give him 2 Sunsynks in there place. The Pylontech batteries were made up of 6 x us3000 batteries and 6 x us 3000C batteries and these were divided into two groups of 6 batteries. Each group had 3 new batteries and 3 old batteries, the groups were all connected to a bussbar system and fed two fuse disconnectors for the inverters. I battled to get the batteries to talk to the sunsynk and be happy on their own, if I connected the batteries in series for the comms and only to the master sunsynk then they were not happy and gave a alarm light on the battery. I then divided them into two groups with the new batteries as masters and the old batteries as slaves, and connecting all via rs485 from battery to sunsynk, and then also connecting the master with cam cable to master battery as well, now all are happy, no alarm lights.
Would this do anything to the batteries as I can see the batteries on the sunsynk and it is doing what we tell it to do.

Thanks for the comments, can I just ask were you get the software for the Pylontechs.
