SUNSYNK 8kW INVERTER MPPT MAX VOLTAGE
I see some documents state a maximum of 500VDC and some 425VDC. I have just set up a system with 2 parallel 8kW inverters and two of my PV strings are around 450VDC. Is this ok?

1. Most inverter documentation in the public domain is incomplete, poorly explained and obsolete.
2. Check the inverter labels (see example below) for PV input voltage range of your installed units.
3. You need to calculate the maximum Voc (i.e. at minimum temperatures) for your location to be sure you are within safe limits.
4. Make sure that your string voltages during the day are within the MPPT input range to ensure proper operation.
