PV use not optimised
Hi, Only had my system installed this week. So very new to this.
You will note in the screen capture that the PV drops from 4kW to virtually zero at 11:00 and then picks up again from 12:45. It was a beautiful sunny day and the system ran well. During this drop my battery gets drained to the threshold of 50% SOC that has been set.
I have an 8kW inverter with 15 x 455W panels (3 strings of 5 panels) all combined and connected to one MPPT.
Please advise what may cause this to happen (it did the same the day before) and this is a time that I need to charge my battery back to 100% and not discharge it into load.

So...... the problem was solved by moving one panel to the other string of 5 (now 6) and then putting the remaining 9 in series. So Mppt1 has 9 panels in series and Mppt2 6 in series. With the 9 panels in series the voltage goes up and current drops below the 18 Amp per Mppt trip point.
