How many pannels per MPPT on 5kW inverter if using both MPPT?
Hi, What is the maximum number of 550W pannels I can connect per MPPT if I am using both MPPTs? The Voc on each pannel is 51V. I am not sure if the 100-500V voltage range means the combined Voc on the pannels on both MPPTs together or per MPPT? In otherwords if I connect 8 pannels on 1 MPPT is in the range 125-425V per MPPT. Does this mean I can have another 8 pannels connected to MPPT2?

Only Voc is the value that can't be exceeded. For all other values, the only negative is that you are leaving some power, but it will not cause any damage.
It's same thing with batteries, i have batteries capable of supplying 200A, while maximum that inverter can draw from them is 120A.
