Recognizing second battery on app

I have added a second Shoto battery to my Sunsynk 5.2 inverter. Where on the app can I see that I now have more than 10 KwH capacity? I understand that the system just sees the two as a single battery, but where on the app can I see it?

Is there some setting I have to set on the app?

The way the system works seems to indicate that both batteries work, it just that it does not show anywhere.

No, you don’t need to change any settings on the Inverter, your battery info and control is coming from the batteries themselves via their BMS:

It looks like your first battery (Master) is communicating well but, just hasn’t found its new buddy (Slave) yet.

Suggestions;

Turn off the inverter via the side button, wait 20 seconds

Turn off the inverter mains supply

Press and hold the reset button on the batteries for 3 seconds until they turn off

Make sure the data cable from Sunsynk to first battery is CAN port to CAN port

Make sure the data cable between the two batteries (supplied) is RS485A port to RS485A port

On the master battery set the 5th ADD switch (red block) to ON (all others down)

On the slave set the 1st ADD switch to ON (all others down)

Power up the master battery (3 second press of reset button)

Then slave..

Mains supply on…

Inverter on…

Wait a few minutes for your buddies to talk to each other

and then the magic 200A Capacity should appear.
