Load Greatly Reducing when Exporting

Hi folks,

Any ideas as to why when solar is pretty decent and export to grid is turned on, my household load drops to around 10% of what it actually is? if I then turn off Export to grid, my household load shoots back up to around what it should be. As an example, today, gloriously sunny day, battery got a full charge by around 10am and export to grid was off (I don't have an export MPAN yet, hence why export to grid was off but that's another story). So my solar input was sitting around what my household load was, around 500w/600w.

As it was such a good day, i turned on Export to grid just to see how much I would be able to export. As soon as I done this, my load drops to around 60w/70w.

Turned export to solar off and immediately my load shoots back up to around 500w/600w, which is about right for what was running?

It's not the end of the world, but it would be good to see accurate (ish) loads when exporting. And what happens when the load actually increases if solar is still good? Does export just drop and solar goes towards the increased load that the invertor doesn't see?

I agree some of the load readings we get from the app do not seem to add up. I have found that my real standing load was actually a lot less than I had anticipated. ... I just wondered if the false load reading was the higher one in your case... i.e. with Export turned off, any excess output... once the battery is up to 100%, has to be accounted for by the system somewhere and if it cannot export... perhaps it reflects this as a false load consumption reading?

Another issue seems to be variable grid import readings occuring when the system is set to array output and battery to load priority.. with the load well within the available system output capacity I have had ranges of grid import readings from as little as 37 watts to 150 watts for example .... for no apparent reason.

Keith did mention that there is a parameter in the system somewhere to set a minimum grid current level to keep the CT aligned.... but I cannot find the menu item that sets this and I don't understand why it would vary once set ...with zero system demand for grid import.
