Generator difficulty
@Keith Gough The mentioned installation (Logger:1794251134) Customer has no Utility connection. Lives off grid. Generator connected to Gen port, all settings programmed. For long we tried getting batteries charged from Gennie without success. It is an 8kW inverter. Customer has a 7.5kW generator. Now we got it to charge but up to a max of 1.3kW. nothing more, then it just does nothing with the Gen power. Any way around this. Generator has got a Voltage regulator.
Then on another site - (SN: E470121BD347) Same problem, only thing i the generator does not supply any power to batteries. Power is getting to inverter, but not going anywhere. There is a utility, so generator connected to Gen port.

I replaced my genie with a small 6kw inverter unit with 4kw peak shaving enabled and now it finally works
