I installed my 8kw inverter yesterday and split my loads into two groups, essential and non-essential loads.

The essential load is connected to the load output and the non-essential load is connected to the Gen port. Setting has been changed to use gen port as output for smart load. I only have my hot water geyser and 2 inverter air conditioning units connected to aux output.

My problem is that the inverter will switch off supply to the aux load for a few seconds every hour. Is this normal behaviour for the Smart Load feature?

Smart load is set to use the battery if SOC is 70% and stop at SOC of 40%. Battery SOC has not dropped below 80% and it still switches Smart load off and on every hour.
