Solar String - oversizing
Hi will the inver MPPT be damaged if you connect say 3.3 kw array to a 2.5kw MPPT (which is on the 5kw inverter) - the voltage would be within spec ........... My thoughts are in theory the inverter would just take what it could handle (a bit like connecting a bigger 12v car battery to a car) .............

As long as you don't exceed maximum Voc you will be fine.
