Sunsynk-G5.3 Setup Parameters

Can I check the battery setup for the Sunsynk-G5.3

I have been working with a number of different BMS's use to manage LiFePO4 batteries an every vendor uses different nomenclature to describe the features, settings and limits. SS is no different. In fact I do not even understand the names they use for some entries.

I cannot say whether charge voltage showing 58.4v is a reported value or is a limit/threshold. This represents 3.65V per cell which normally is the "Cell over voltage protection". Some BMS's rely on triggering this threshold to force the BMS to show 100%. If this is not triggered that the battery will never show 100% SOC and may start to drift over time. Some people argue that using this voltage will stress the battery and will only charge the battery to a nominal 80%. As the voltage curve this chemistry is almost flat it is very difficult to determine the real SOC unless you have a the ability to to do coulomb energy counting. This is why the charge voltage can be between 57.6V (3.6V) and 58.4V (3.65V). So if you see the SOC starting to drift downwards over time you probably need to set the charge voltage (bulk/absorption) at 58.4V.
