Most hybrid inverters have the ability to provide power when there is no AC/Grid input or PV power available, all power output is provided by the battery. This is often referred to as UPS mode. On the Sunsynk inverter the "Load" connection can be used as the "UPS" output. The system setting can also be configured so that the inverter will only behave as a UPS - no PV and Grid power.
