Unannounced Logger Update
Last night we logged two Warnings on our 12kW 3-phase sites, with a recurrence this morning. There was no Notification. After some investigation, they were found to have occurred at the same time (23H33) on both plants:
W01: reserve
W03: Grid Phase Wrong
The data showed no obvious problem, until I noticed that an extra parameter (Battery Fast Charge Flag(NA)/222) had been added just before these warnings occurred.
Unsurprisingly, the logger/gateway firmware was also updated, to version 4790123B24R.
We try to support our clients when Warnings and Faults are reported, and this investigation could have been avoided if Sunsynk simply notified its clients when such an unrequested firmware upgrade is scheduled.
