House batteries and car battery won't charge at same time

ree

I have an 8kW hybrid inverter with 20kWh of batteries (4 x Sunsynk). I want to charge the House batteries and the car battery (not on UPS load circuit) at the same time in the time slot between 2am and 5am. This is not working. How can I achieve this? Currently the settings are as below. Any advice gratefully received. Thanks.

Good pick up. I cannot recall what the default factory setting is. On you original graph you posted, it was not obvious what was happening. Yes, having the grid peak shaving set to 8kW and no available battery, it could not charge the battery because the inverter was already at the maximum limit allowed from the Grid that was supplying the Zappi. Increasing the grid peak shaving settings would then allow the grid to power the zappi and the additional allowed power be used to charge the battery.

You ask what is a suitable limit. I noticed that this is an option than can be turned off. Once you turn this off the inverter will no longer be limited and it should be able to charge both batteries at the same time drawing the required power from the grid with no limits.
