Upcoming AC Smart Switch
Have just put the below to tech support via email for clarification; would be interested to hear anyone's thoughts on it. Basically based around the 'level of smart' available in the recently announced AC Smart Switch (Skip to 2:50 - https://youtu.be/2GOC8UJN5WI).

Have heard the latest news about the upcoming AC Smart Switch which has gotten my interest. I do have a couple of queries however.
I intend on having a small water cylinder installed to provide preheated water for my combi boiler. This small cylinder will have an immersion heater fitted, with the idea of supplying preheated water from solar PV to reduce my boiler load, and thus gas bill.
It is my intention to divert surplus energy to the immersion heater, as the SEG export tariffs are so poor - it's all about self consumption. Ideally I would run a string from the AUX port of the inverter, but this in itself is a faff due to the inverter being in the loft and the boiler being in the garage.
Now with the dawn of this AC smart switch, this will make matters a lot easier. Providing the following:
Does the AC smart switch limit output to match the suplus solar PV? Example: surplus solar PV is 1kW, therefore only 1kW will be made available to my 3kW immersion heater?
Would the AC smart switch have an input that I could link a stat to in order for it to stop when a certain temperature has been met? Example: Battery SOC = 100% > Supply surplus PV to immersion heater > Export (in the event that cylinder stat switch has been made when the tank is up to temperature).
Will the AC smart switch be available FOC to customers who have sunsynk inverters already installed? Or those with very recent installations?
If the criteria in question 1 hasn't been made, then the venture would be kind of pointless - as it would end up leaving me out of pocket should I be making < 3kW surplus solar at the time when the AC switch is active. Question 2 would be an ideal situation and would be interested to find out if this level of 'smart' will be available in the product.
