Linked inverters?
Hi,
I have one system installed (with a 3.6kW inverter) and am about to have another system installed (with an 8.8kw inverter) - granny wing and main house. Both have 5kw batteries. Is it possible to link the two systems? i.e. to allow transfer of charge from one battery to the other? I've seen conflicting answers on this forum.

What Robbie said is what could work - but I would maybe not bother. I would Design / configure each system to do the job it needs to do and keep it seperate [assuming you have PV for each Inverter?]. Makes it simpler - avoids power transfer losses and set-up confliction and [probably] will avoid long cable runs???
