"Transformer-less" implies not galvanically isolated and RCB Type B applicable?

While checking technical requirements for installing hybrid inverters in South Africa, I noticed the following requirement:

"RCD (Type B) required for transformerless inverters." and repeated "RCD Type B (If not galvanically-isolated)".

So to be sure/confirm, the SunSynk Hybrid inverters designs are transformerless/switching based inverters which in theory could spill/leak DC current onto the AC side and hence the requirement to have a RCD type B?
