I have 5 kW hybrid inverter and battery installed 13 months ago and being working perfectly . Very happy with it.

3 weeks ago we had an overdraw on one of the circuits which caused inverter to trip. When the inverter reset itself

the wifi stick was dead..no red light or green light. Sunsynk Connect reported plant last on ...was minutes when i first checked but now its weeks.

I tried removing the wifi stick and re-connecting but still nothing . I went back to supplier taking the wifi stick and they took it to the back and came back with "it seems its not working" .

I reordered a new one and it arrived about 10 days later but alas , also dead ..not working.

The inverter is operating fine , LCD display showing all the settings and reports as it did previously.

It already cost me just over R1000 for new wifi stick and courier charges and btw the installer that installed is no longer in business. You would have thought it was boom times for these guys.

The alternate installer recommended by supplier wants to charge a call out fee , as it was not their installation.

I may be forced to this route but was hoping there might be a quick fix like a fuse needs to be replaced.

Anyone have any ideas ?
