Faulty screen and app readings

I have had a problem with my Sunsynk 8kW inverter for some 3 months.

The display screen switches from blank to full screen to scrolling screen. The inverter works correctly as far as I can see, and changes over etc if there is a power failure.

In addition, I cannot see the status on the app at any time unless the inverter connects to the internet briefly.

The app shows excessive export to the grid on the monthly readings, although it does show the supposed monthly amount generated.

Through my installer, Sunsynk did a firmware update which made no difference. My installer says the inverter needs to be removed and sent to Sunsynk for repair, which could take 2 to 3 months.

I have Sunsynk batteries and inverter which supposedly together carry a 10 year warranty

As far as I'm concerned, the after sales service from Sunsynk is stupid - why can't on site repairs be done ? It is a big removing the inverter, besides the hassle of being without the system. Unfortunately my installer has mover from Durban to Jhb..

Has anyone had this problem, and how was it resolved?

Have you tried contacting Sunsynk support by by phone of using the 24hr chat facility to see if they can help. eg, they may be able to arrange for the display board to be replaced, which the installer may be allowed to change. It does seem like the installer may not be an authorized to do field repairs.
