Selecting the correct Eastron meter and CT coil
I am about to AC couple a string inverter to my grid tied Sunsynk inverter. I understand that the Eastron SDM630MCT needs to be used but there seems to be 3 model variants.
SDM630MCT - MOD - MID - 1/5A Input Modbus RS485 & Pulsed Outputs
SDM630MCT - MBUS - MID – 1/5A Input Mbus & Pulsed Outputs
SDM630MCT - MOD - MV – 0.333mV Input Modbus RS485 & Pulsed Outputs (Not MID certified)
Does it matter which one I end up with?
There also seems to be many different CT clamps to choose from. The differences between the CT's relate to the input current and diameter of the aperture & output current in mA.
Can anyone please tell me exactly which meter and coil combination I should get?
Many thanks

This is the Sunsynk recommendation:
Take in consideration the following information:
- Eastron SDM 120 CT are for single phase inverters.
- Eastron SDM 630 MCT V1 are for both, single phase and three phase inverters.
- When using three single phase inverters on a three phase system you need to use the Eastron SDM 630 MCT V2 and connect each CT to the meter and the RJ45 to the master inverter as if it were a normal three phase inverter.
The meter that is supplied by Sunsynk is labeled Eastron SDM 630 MCT.
The more practical version is the on that use a 1/5A CT, although the V2 version needs special attention if you want to change the CT ratio setting more than once.
