Inverter using Grid continuously

Hi all,

I'm relatively new to the solar party. I was expecting a very reduced bill last month and was surprised when I still consumed a considerable amount of power.

In a nutshell, I then decided to start measuring various points. I used my portable clampmeter on the incoming 230vac grid to the inverter and noticed that it pulls a continuous 0.6A to 1.2A the entire time irrespective of whether there is a load or not. The actual grid dial on the invterer shows 0.00KW but in reality it seems to consume around 180W for it's own consumption which is a tad high and not really saving me money! Please help, I've got a Sunsynk 8KVA, 2 Hubble AM5s and 8x 595w panels.

The CT has the arrow facing the grid and connected on terminals 5 and 6.

I only peak around 2300kWh at soon point in the day, I dint seem to get more even though my voltage is around 320v for the 8 panels.
