Getting less than expected PV Power

Hi. A few weeks ago I bought a 5kW Sunsynk and 5x 460W solar panels and 3.5kw battery to help power a farm cottage and also cover the frequent power outages. I'm familiar with the 8kw model that I use in the main house. It works great, so I bought the smaller 5kW model for the cottage, but the 5kw model's solar is not what I'm expecting.

The panels are not mounted to the roof yet, so I temporary placed them outside and tilted them perpendicular to the sun, connected in series and at noon and I'm getting only about 1950W instead of the expected 2300W. This was with a kettle, toaster and microwave running (about 5kW) so the load was definitely there.

Though it might be a wiring issue, so I moved the panels to main house and connected the 5x panels to the 8kW unit I have in the main house, and the exact same setup produced 2450W.

Why would this be? The panels I bought are still within the safe ranges of the inverter (Max current <11A, max voltage of string 250V)

This was the data on the 5kw inverter :

Solar: 1942W

L1: 196V

9.9A

1942W

Hi, has this issue been resolved? I have just purchased a sunsynk inverter and panels and this will be an issue
