Passthrough current in Failure
If the worst were to happen and an Inverter were to fail does passthrough current still operate while mains power is available, or will all outputs of the Inverter cease to operate in the event of a failure.

But remember the grid connection just "adds" current to your consumer unit / fuse box in normal operation so if the inverter dies you would still have the grid supplying the total load.
