Forcing battery charge first
Hi,
It seems obvious but I cannot seem to get my 8kW system to prioritise battery charging. It always seems to put the lions share to grid. I’ve stopped it with deselecting’PV export’ but there must be a better way than switching manually.

I got a couple of sunsynk BYD batteries and my 3.6 inverter/BMS is throttling charge limit to 20A only, When the second battery got installed I specifically checked BMS for charge current, and it was showing 50A. Seems the charge limit only got changed on the BMS on the second of December, the first overnight charge I noticed 1000W charge.
WHY Sunsynk??????? I called Sunsynk support and got told that I need to speak with my installer. So I emailed my installer and have been waiting for a reply since. I'm going to call sunsynk on Monday to complain.
