Sunsynk App.
I fairly often find that the Sunsynk app does not update or update correctly and thus becomes less useful and a frustration. The weather indicators also are often just blank. I enjoy the app functionality when it works correctly.
In South Africa we currently have excessive load shedding up to Stage 6. Thus it is important to have a reluable app so that one can turn on and off grid charging, make sure battery is fully charged by night or adapt loading to minimise municipal electricity usage.
Inverters are usually installed in a out building.

Similar problems here, in my case the advance settings page ignores any changes. It also always shows a bunch of settings associated with wind turbines with junk values in their fields, these have to be set to the correct range before the app will attempt to send the settings even though a wind turbine isn't enabled anywhere.
My guess is that the app needs an update to be compatible with the newer firmware versions.
In general I find the web interface more useful, although a bunch of settings recently disappeared from that so its usefulness isn't guaranteed either.
