Octopus cosy/power ups

We had our batteries installed in August and subsequently transferred to Octopus Cosy. We then received an email about free electricity power ups becoming available in our area. We have started getting these this week, our batteries haven't been performing due to the cold, not discharging below 67%, charging to 72% ish (just bought some insulation boarding to help 🤞). Today during the power up (third one we've had), the batteries discharged to 0% (limit set 20%). I couldn't get them to charge, instead of discharging - turned the timer off, resetting the timer for 15 minutes time, then it's started charging outside the timer settings. Does anyone use Octopus power ups and manage to charge batteries for free? Any ideas?

  1. Batteries warm up on charging. Look for the temperature chart on the app

  2. If you go to the timers settings look at the timer settings in system mode. One line divided a "battery state of charge" the lowest should be 20%0that determines the bottom the highest 100% .

  3. If you want to lad up n free electricity go to the settings for the time period you are in and look for how much charge is in the battery.

  4. If you then change the battery state of charge to a higher number your system will charge to that level.

  5. Don't forget to reverse the process after wards
