Work mode for battery supply to the house's load, but not to export
Good day,
I’m struggling with the SunSynk work modes as I'd like to use the battery to supply the house's load, but not to export.
My Sunsynk system:
6kW 12 x JA Solar 500W; VOC: 45.59 per panel, 2 Strings 6 Panels
16kW SunSynk Hybrid Inverter
20kW SunSynk 2 x LFP Wall Mount 10.65kWh Lithium Batteries 51.2V, 416aH
My system requirements:
Solar power should be used according to this pattern:
Feeding the house’s load then
Charging the batteries then
Exporting to the grid
I’m actually running the system with the following work modes:
From sunrise to sunset (09:00 - 16:30): Grid selling mode with max. sell power 2000 W
During the night (16:30 - 09:00): Limited to home
Both options are working fine, but I have to switch between them manually.
I tried out different settings to get along with one single work mode for the whole day.
Unfortunately I didn’t have any luck so far, as the Work mode Limited to home with option Solar Sell does not export any power to the grid.
Work mode Grid selling will not stop feeding energy into the grid during the night and would completely discharge the batteries until the next morning.
Work mode Zero-Export + Limit to load only unsure of what this does.
How can I configure the system so that the solar energy is used to feed the house's load first, then charge the battery, and finally during daytime, export the excess of power to the grid when the batteries are full.
Thanks for your support.

Hi @Groots,
thank you so much for your detailed message.
Please find attached my answers to your points:
I‘m currently still in Germany, so I can change settings only remotely via app.
I’m running the app on an iPhone 12 (latest version from app store). Kindly send me some screenshots of your app.
For all changes, I receive a confirmation that the setting has been successfully changed and I can monitor the changes by looking at the charts.
Switching to work mode „Grid Selling“ is only a workaround, as I didn‘t manage to sell power in „Limited to home“ mode. I will check the settings on the console once I‘ll be back in South Africa end of September. I‘ll keep you updated.
Have a great evening
