BMS sync

My system in the UK comprises a 3.6/5kW hybrid inverter with 2 Premium Lithium 5kW batteries connected in parallel. I have noticed that the BMSs on the batteries are out of sync, the master battery shows 19% charge whilst the slave has 50% charge. How can I sort this out? Could I turn off the master battery and set the dip switches on the slave to that of the master and plug the com port from the master to the slave? I assume that the inverter would then draw from the "new master" battery. The UK has been low in sunshine for the past month which may have had an impact.

Any advice would be welcomed

Hi, I have a system with 2 Sunsynk 5.32kw batteries. You can see a recent post from me where I have similar issues. This appears to have been fixed by the following process:

A) Turn off the slave battery using the soft 'Off' front panel, followed by the 'hard' off rear panel rocker switch

B) Reboot Inverter

C) The SOC is then reported for the Master battery only

D) Inverter off

E) Power off Master battery by same process

F) Connect BMS Inverter to Slave battery

G) Power on Inverter

H) Power on 'Slave' battery, which now registers as Master

I) Note SOC

If the SOC is different you can charge the lower battery until it matches the other

J) As applicable, charge the battery and then power off the inverter and both batteries

K) Reconnect as original and restart the Master battery and then the slave

L) Power up the inverter
