8.8kW Hybrid Manual is seriously wrong
The manual linked from the QR code (and found on the website) of my 8.8kW hybrid inverter (serial 2304104650) relates to a completely different model (or at least a different hardware revision). I raised a ticket and was told:
You can use the same manual for this for now, the inverter is same we have just reduced one port. The manual is in process in accordance to the new inverter, apologies on that. Everything else is same apart from the combined 485 and CAN port, so you will use the port that says CAN for the BMS communication.
The Meter_CON port is missing and it doesn't tell you where to connect an external meter.
More seriously the manual says to connect the CT to pins 5 and 6. Only by tracking down the Deye manual for a related model did i find this ought to be 3 and 4. I have wasted weeks on this. And lost much summer sunshine. Unimpressive.
Talking of clueless installers, I look out on this house opposite. This pic was about midday. Not sure even optimisers would help! Yes that is an enormous oak tree!
