Sunsynk Battery Settings for Discharge to Grid and Charge from Grid
Hello All, I am still a relatively new user to Sunsynk and am trying to work out my battery settings in advance of an Octopus Energy Free Electricity session between 1.00pm and 2.00pm tomorrow Sunday 18th. I have not charged from the grid at set times previously, but will need to use the benefits of my tariff (Cosy Octopus) as the days get shorter in the autumn. For the moment I am trying to learn how to use the sunsynk connect app and website appropriately especially when it comes to battery settings. Ideally I would like to discharge my battery to the grid tomorrow at 12.00 midday down to 20% SOC. Then I would want to charge from the grid at 1.00pm up to a SOC of 100% if possible, but could cease charging at 2.00pm even if 100% has not yet been achieved. Any capcity left over at 2.00pm might be filled by some solar generation so that is no problem. If anyone here is able to guide me, I would be so appreciative. If I miss the opportunity tomorrow that is no problem, as I am sure another chance will come along in future. But I do know I will need to maximise the benefits of time of use tariffs by the time the autumn and winter come along. Thanks Lloyd
