Grid Power Failure
My village recently experienced a total power black out for 2 hrs at 8.00pm, my batteries were nearly full but I still had no lights/power in the house, what settings do I need to check to allow the batteries to take over?
thanks

The inverters have the main grid IN / OUT terminal. but as stated if there is no local power the inverter has to isolate the GRID terminals otherwise it would be trying to power the whole street.
There is another output labeled LOAD. This is like a UPS. When the grid is up this output has grid power. When the grid is down the batteries enable power to be generated for this port.
The current (power) from this port is limited (I think) to the inverter power so the suggestion is to only use this for essential equipment. The power will be supplied from the battery(s) so a 10kWh would only supply 3kW for up to 3 ours.
