F56 Fault after Loadshedding
Hi All,
I have 3 x 5.5kw inverters (3 Phase split with each inverter supplying individual phase) with 3 x SS202 SolarMD batteries with SolarMD V2 logger. Current SW is M 3.1.6.2
My system has been running for over year without any problems but the last few weeks during loadshedding (and this fault only happens in the evening) the system will be running on batteries and about 5 mins before the loadshedding ends the inverters will shut down and F56 Fault will display. The SOC

will drop down to 20%. Only when the loadshedding ends around 20:00 the system will restart.
Did a test tonight and tripped the AC feed when loadshedding started to see if eliminating the grid feed would perhaps point to a problem but like clock work at 20:00 the system shutdown. If I shutdown the inverters and turn them back on with AC still disconnected the system comes online and discharges from the batteries.
This problem has been discussed on a number of local forums. Any suggestions? This does not happen during the day when PV is active

See you have 3x5.5 inverters and 3x batteries. Now the 5.5 kw needs a battery that if the demand is 3 kw the battery must be able to supply that demand at that time. So you should never have a smaller battery than your inverter(5.5kW) so if your battery size is 2.5 or 3.6 kW it will never be able to supply more than that to the load, so the inverter will then give that fault code. So not sure what your battery size is, but this could be the problem. Then a second thing it can be, the battery might be a 5.5 kW battery, but if its a 0.5C battery it would only be able to supply 2.25kW at any time. So it can be many different factors.
