Integrated vs external PV DC isolator?

The Hybrid Parity (Super) Inverter's include a PV DC switch on the inverter itself. Is this PV DC switch intended/included for use as a mechanical isolator? The simplified wiring diagram appears to indicate that additional isolators are also needed/recommended, as per https://www.sunsynk.org/forum/techical-support/simplified-wiring-diagram-for-the-sunsynk-8-8-kw-hybrid-inverter. Is this additional PV DC isolator recommended?

In my case, given the PV fuse box will be installed right next to the inverter, it seems like duplication having 2 isolators in the same location.

On my 5k unit, found it's using a 16A 1500VDC switch with a data sheet suggesting it will function as a load breaking isolator. http://en.projoy-electric.com/ueditor/net/upload/file/20200326/Projoy_DC-Isolator_PEDS-HM16-32A_Datasheet_EN.pdf

This is relevant for the South African market where many PV installers insist we buy/install PV DC isolator boxes, but I'm chanllanging my sparky about it. SANS-10142-1-2 (currently still draft) seems to suggest it might suffice:

In a section "6.2.7.1 Location of the Switch Disconnector for Inverters"

> b) The Switch Disconnector may form part of the inverter enclosure.

I raise this point given the SunSynk simplified wiring diagram seems to show a PV disconnection switch in external DC boxes, but In questioning the example of the PV connections to be isolated twice. I suppose it allows independent isolation of one array vs another, but otherwise, is there any benefit?
