System mode to charge batteries from grid
Installation 6 September 2021: 8Kw inverter with GCL 5.6Kwh Lithium battery (60v).
Current settings would not trigger Grid charging the battery - have tried several configurations after studying several training and info sessions on you tube by Keith (CEO Sunsynk).
The issue is, battery receives it charge only when solar is available.
The aim is to:
use solar to service the load when solar is available. Base load (day & night) is around 300w to 500w (max about 20A).
excess solar to keep the battery fully charged. This is necessary as Grid regularly fails for up to 3 hours.
When solar is low or there is no solar (night time), meaning the grid must substitute solar and also maintain battery fully charged.

Below, Grid Signal was previously selected but this also yielded no result.
refer to the below and not that "Priority Load" was previously tested but also yielded no success.
Even selecting "Zero Export" resulted in no charging of battery from the grid.

Hi Cedric...happy to troubleshoot this with you and I can already see a few key system settings which need to be changed...as along as physical connections/setup was done correctly and we assume it should then work correctly based on the settings you configure. Did an accredited installer do the installation for you? Happy to connect via WhatsApp/phone to assist...
