Feed-in regardless...?

I have an 8kW inverter. Installer has set it not to feed in to the grid (which is correct). However, most days the logger shows that it has fed at least some power into the grid. This month so far 20kW, last month 22kW. As that's over 4% of the generated power for the month it seems like a lot. Is this to be expected or is there likely a configuration issue or fault? Today alone more than 6% of generated power shows as feed-in.

I'm guessing from your use of the term "load shedding" that you're in South Africa, and likely in a summer rainfall area :-) Here in the Cape, if I don't have a minimum value for grid charge during the day when we have 4 days of rain I'll be in trouble if load shedding happens when the battery is discharged below those levels. Hence the 40% minimum during the day. I change it to 30% on sunny days :-)
