Hello,

Following an online firmware update request to Sunsynk for my 8kW hybrid inverter, it has been done without notice, and ended up very strangely.

1. firmware was downgraded from version 6.0.2.5 to 5.3.8.6

2. SN was changed

3. Timer settings wiped off, I don't know if other settings were changed, I hope not.

Inverter has rebooted many times until it settled with an F18 over current fault as the upgrade, well the downgrade, was done as it was under load and used and I should have been advised to get ready and off load it and switch to grid.

I have switched to grid, shutdown properly and restarted the inverter and it seems to run normally and F18 fault was cleared but came back when DC was switched on. It has still this new serial and old firmware ....

What should I do ? Sunsynk online support is dead quite...

I wish I never requested this upgrade....or done the whole thing myself if authorized as I handle well in my field routers fw development, upgrades, debricking ...
