Correct wiring for a crossover switch?
What is the correct way to wire the DB with a crossover switch so that I can isolate the inverter and still have the essential and non-essential loads working?
I see the standard practice is to use a 2 pole crossover switch, but this still leaves the grid input live. The wiring I'm told takes the Grid input, passes through a 50A double pole circuit breaker and then into the crossover switch. The 50A circuit breaker also feeds the Grid port of the inverter.
The Load output of the inverter goes through a 40A double pole circuit breaker and into the crossover switch. The output of the crossover switch goes to the Essential Load circuit breakers.
