Maximum no. of panels a 5kW inverter can support?

My installer proposed a design with 17 x 400 watt panels, 6 on a south facing roof and 11 on a west facing roof. There is an 8kW inverter with export limitation, 5kW battery and Tiga optimisation. The DNO has stipulated a maximum generation capacity of 7.2kW with an export limitation of 4.1kW. To accommodate this the installer has proposed 2 options a) reduce the number of panels to 16 and use a 5kW inverter b) use 2 x 3.6kW inverters, 1 for the south elevation and 1 for the west but with the battery only connected to one, all configured to limit the export to 4.1kW. I'm not really happy with either of these options and I wondered if there are any other possibilities?

The export limiter on Sunsynk is the CT which mesures the current and adjust it to zero as I stated. DNO may require a Managed system.
