Changeover switch needed?
My installer has setup some essentials in a separate CU. I have an Ecco 5kw.
However, they have not fitted a changeover switch to power the CU2 when the inverter is off or missing for repair.
I have been told that the inverter has the changeover switch built in, so if I turn off the inverter the CU2 will be powered.
Is this true?
This does however leave me without power to essentials should it ever have to be sent away for repair.
Should they have fitted a separate one as well?
