High Voltage Series - operating and throttling temperatures
Hi we are looking at a couple of 61.4kWh batteries connected up to a 50kW Hybrid. Have a couple of questions.
Are there internal heaters? Is there any sort of internal cooling?
You rate these for charging between 0C and 55C and discharging -20C to 55C are there any warranty consequences of regularly running them at, but not beyond those limits.
Are the batteries responsible for ensuring they do not charge or discharge outside of their operating limits or is there a user aspect?
You state these batteries must be stored at 0C to 35C - I interpret that as soon as the system is commissioned then the temperature limits become -20C to 55C.
Are there warranty consequences if the batteries briefly exceed these extremes but are in self-protection?
There are presumably charge and discharge rate tapers when operating at higher or lower temperatures, do you divulge what these are?

You would only need to manage the environment when the battery temperatures get below zero.
