Generator as PV Microinverter Input - limits?
May be a stupid Q...
Single phase hybrid inverter... 5kw or 8kw Double checking - Is there a power limit of the inverter when using the Generator port as a PV Microinverter input?
I can see in both the 5kw & 8kw doco it states "Tick this box if intending to connect a supplementary inverter or micro inverter (Max. 4kW)." There's nothing on the datasheet in terms of input port limits.
Are both 5kw & 8kw units set to a 4kw limit?
Bonus Q...
You can turn export on/off, i'm guessing there's some additional control gear between the generator port & the grid bus when using "microinverter" mode. Does this mean you can also throttle the output from the microinverters? i.e. only export 200W? or is that controlled by the overall system output?
