Modbus addressing with 3-phase cluster
We have a 3-ph SunSynk 16K Max configuration which has been running for 6 months. Today I noticed that 2 out of the 3 inverters have the same Modbus Address = 2.
How is it possible that everything has been running o.k. ?
If I change one of the duplicates to be Modbus = 3, will this cause the system to reset or fail in anyway ? (it is a critical system)

I also subscribe to the idea if it ain't broke do not touch it. In this case I would suggest that one of he inverters with the duplicate ID will not be using the correct settings in particular the those settings that are shared settings. It will be running using the initial settings you used to initialise the syetem.
